Helen Hooker O’Malleys / A Modern Eye Exhibition curated by Gallery of Photography Ireland and National Photographic Archive in Dublin, 2019. This collaborative project extensive work by Irish Photographer. Work was split in two sections and featured in both galleries. A book was also published, as a legacy piece.

The National Library of Ireland partnered with the Gallery of Photography Ireland to present A Modern Eye: Helen Hooker O’Malley’s Ireland. A Modern Eye is the first major presentation of the photographic work of Helen Hooker O’Malley, featuring landscape photographs, historical events, and people from Ireland, Russia, and the Far East. This photographic exhibition gives a fascinating insight into a modern, independent woman’s creative vision of post-independence Ireland.
