“Ruža Leko is an extremely talented designer who knows how to deliver a creative and original concept within a tight timeframe, and does not allow the essence of the design to suffer as a result. She is also a designer who listens to the client and the particular needs or specifics of a cultural institution, such as the National Museum of Ireland. The resulting graphic design content was exceptional in terms of a lightness of touch, but with clear legibility and an overall accessible aesthetic, which delighted visitors to the exhibition. The fact the exhibition Portrait of a Century was one of the first times in recent decades the National Museum had addressed the topic of photography made the brief all the more important to get right.
